Built for the timecode job
- Start where you need. Use embedded timecode, creation time, modification time minus duration, or a custom start.
- Offset precisely. Add or subtract hours, minutes, seconds, and frames, with a preview for each movie’s frame rate.
- Edit a selection. Change timecode settings for one movie, several selected movies, or the whole batch.
- Bring the whole folder. Drag in movies or folders, include subfolders, and skip macOS sidecar files automatically.
- Keep your setup. Settings are remembered between launches, so the next batch starts with your preferences.
- Choose your output. Save new copies, retain subfolders, rename clips, or replace verified originals while keeping backups.
Embedded timecode. Original media retained.
TOE-Jam writes a timecode track into supported MOV, MP4, and M4V containers. It does not burn timecode into the picture or transcode your footage. Existing video, audio, cover art, chapters, and camera metadata—including DJI djmd and dbgi tracks—are retained. Processing happens locally on your computer.
The initial engine supports self-contained, nonfragmented files with one constant-frame-rate primary video and a simple untrimmed timeline. Unsupported layouts are rejected. Test representative copies in your editing application before production use. Read compatibility and platform details.
