TOE-JAM / QUICK GUIDE
Select a row, use its checkbox, or Shift-click a range. Timecode settings apply to selected movies; deselect to edit all. Output settings apply to the batch.
TOE-Jam sets, shifts, and embeds timecode in your movie files.
Add MOV, MP4 or M4V movies. Choose embedded timecode, a timestamp, or a custom start, then adjust the offset. Each row previews the result at that movie’s own frame rate.
Counting: Match source preserves embedded drop-frame notation; timestamp and custom sources default to non-drop. Drop frame is available at 29.97 and 59.94 fps. Offsets are elapsed frame counts; timecode wraps at 24 hours.
Output: Your settings are remembered between launches, including the copy/replace choice and output folder. Reset restores the original defaults, including saving a new copy. Existing output files are never overwritten. Turning copies off replaces each source after verification and keeps an original backup beside it. Re-import a replaced source before processing it again.
The native Rust engine embeds timecode without re-encoding. Existing media bytes, audio, cover art, chapters and camera metadata—including DJI djmd/dbgi tracks—are retained. Originals remain available as source files or backups. This first version supports self-contained, nonfragmented MOV/MP4/M4V files with one constant-frame-rate video and a simple untrimmed timeline. Unsupported layouts are rejected. Test a copy in your editing app before using a batch in production.

TOE-JAM / YOUR LICENSE
Checking access…
One license covers two computers, Mac or Windows. Activation and deactivation require internet access. Perpetual licenses work offline after activation. When online, TOE-Jam checks the saved activation at launch and once daily for revocation or release. Network failures do not disable a valid offline license. Temporary licenses expire on the date shown.
Activation sends your license key, a random app registration ID, your operating system, and a generic computer label to Rosette Development. Movies and hardware identifiers stay on your computer. Reactivating replaces this computer’s saved license record. Using a different key does not release a seat on the previous license; deactivate it first when possible. Keep your key or purchase email to activate another computer. For lost keys or a computer you can no longer access, contact Rosette Development through the website.
