Rosette Development builds web and mobile applications — products of our own, and custom software for clients who need something built properly the first time.
We’re a small shop by design. That means the person you talk to about your project is the person writing the code, and decisions get made in hours instead of quarters.
Our Products
RosettaMaps
RosettaMaps is our flagship product: the ultimate guide to camping.
It’s a discovery platform for campers, overlanders, and anyone who’d rather sleep under the stars than under a hotel ceiling. RosettaMaps helps you find established campgrounds, dispersed sites, and the points of interest that make a trip worth taking — from trailheads and fuel stops to the odd roadside landmark you’d never find on a standard map.
Available on the web, iOS, and Android, with the tools you actually need out in the field: detailed map layers, offline access for when the signal disappears, and a database we curate carefully rather than letting it fill up with noise.
We’d rather have ten thousand listings you can trust than a million you can’t.

Custom Development
We also take on client work — web applications, mobile apps, and the backend systems that hold them together.
We’re a good fit if you want:

How We Work
We build the way we’d want software built for us: carefully, without unnecessary complexity, and with the assumption that real people will depend on it. RosettaMaps is our proof of concept for that approach — a full production platform across three surfaces, built and maintained to the same standard we’d hold client work to.
