SpeedDeck Mac companion
SpeedDeck turns an iPad into a control surface for DaVinci Resolve Studio on a Mac. The Mac companion runs in the menu bar and connects the iPad to Resolve over your local network. No Terminal session is needed.
Beta requirements: macOS 14 or later, DaVinci Resolve Studio v21.1 beta with External Scripting set to Local, and an iPad running the SpeedDeck TestFlight build. Keep the Mac and iPad on the same local network.
To install: download the Mac ZIP, unzip it, and move SpeedDeck Mac.app to Applications. Open it once. In the menu bar, choose Enable Keyboard Control and grant Accessibility permission. Then choose Copy iPad Pairing Link and open that link on your iPad.
For the Color page’s native Lift, Gamma, Gain, Offset, color bars, and Blur/Sharpen controls, use SpeedDeck Mac 1.1 or later. Keep Resolve’s Color page open on the Mac and turn on Enable Color Controls in the iPad app.
SpeedDeck Mac is required for Wi‑Fi and any future USB connection because Resolve is controlled on the Mac. The current beta connects over Wi‑Fi.
